About EDMA Medical Centre

Introduction

EDMA Medical Centre is a private healthcare facility located in Busega/Nateete, 5km on Kampala-Masaka Road, on the Busega-Kibuye section, Lubaga Division, Kampala District.

EDMA Medical Centre offers both general and specialized services in various medical specialties. Our patient coverage has grown significantly since our inception in 2017, serving an increasing number of community members each year.

Background

EDMA Medical Centre operates within the legal framework of Uganda and is fully incorporated as a limited liability company. We are licensed and regulated by the Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners Council.

EDMA Medical Centre commenced operations in 2016 as an outpatient facility with one medical doctor attending to an average of 50 patients per month. This number has since increased to an average of 500 clients monthly, including those receiving general medical services as well as specialized outpatient and inpatient services.

Our facility features adequate and appropriate infrastructure across two floors, enabling our committed team to serve our clients effectively. The facility includes a spacious main reception area, four specialist and general consultation offices, a modern laboratory, an operating theatre, a dental unit, a fully stocked pharmacy, and a radiology/imaging department. We offer private, semi-private, and general wards for admitted patients, with all services provided by a highly professional and dedicated team of healthcare workers.
